Carly believes whole-heartedly in the innate wisdom of children. She has worked in early childhood education for years, focusing on outdoor, play-based education and drawing on the Montessori and Waldorf traditions of child-led learning. Whether on her own, or with her young friends, Carly loves to sow seeds, grow a lot of food, and sing too loudly. You’ll also find her baking up a storm or pulling espresso shots at Vintage Baking Company!
Erica is an educator, aspiring writer and francophile. She finds fulfillment in facilitating JPL's French Conversation Club and getting to know her community better through her role at JPL. Erica credits her mother for her love of libraries.
Gloria provides cheerful greetings and outstanding assistance working at the Circulation Desk. In fact, she does that as Deputy Town Clerk as well!
Lisa has been involved with the library for years, first as a Board member and a member of the building committee, then as a member of our extraordinary staff. She is a consistently friendly face when you come in.
Meg has come full circle with the Jackson Public Library, first starting as the Children's Librarian back in the little Library and now as the Director. She loves gardening, x-c skiing, and reading!
Meredith Piotrow is a certified Library Media Specialist and the Children’s Librarian at the Jackson Public Library. When she is not reading a variety of children’s or young adult books, she can be found exploring the great outdoors or folding origami. She and her husband moved to the valley in 1996 and their family can’t imagine living anywhere else!
